Pastor John continued the study of Revelation by focusing on chapter 5 and the question, Who is worthy to rule? Because Christ alone is worthy to open the scroll, believers have hope that sin, suffering, and death will one day come to an end. While Christians still experience trials in this fallen world, God uses suffering to strengthen faith and point others to Christ. The sermon concluded with the assurance that Jesus will one day return to establish His righteous kingdom, where His people will live with Him forever in a world free from sin, sorrow, and death.
