Matthew 21:1-11
The King Revealed

In this week's sermon, Pastor David took us on a journey through Palm Sunday, the day Jesus made His triumphant yet humble entrance into Jerusalem. He highlighted how people saw Jesus differently: some thought He was just a carpenter, some saw Him as a miracle worker, while others believed He was a prophet. Meanwhile, the Romans saw him as a harmless figure, and the Jewish leaders felt threatened by Him. Pastor David explored Jesus's entry on a donkey, fulfilling a prophecy of a peaceful king. This was in stark contrast to what people expected of a conquering king. Jesus chose peace and humility, reminding us the true identity of the Messiah — as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords who will return gloriously. Let's remember this: Jesus is not defined by who we want Him to be but by who He truly is in the Bible.
