This week's sermon by Pastor David was a continuation of our fall series on "Community," where he focused on what it means to be a part of a Covenant Community within the body of Christ. At Salt Creek Church, we have a membership covenant that guides us on how to live and treat one another as followers of Christ. Pastor David shared a heartfelt story about a woman named Susie, illustrating God’s ability to work through the community to touch lives. He explained how the Holy Spirit moves among us when we gather, go, give, and grow together. The sermon emphasized that church isn't just about attending services but actively cooperating with the Holy Spirit. In doing so, we reflect God’s image as we live in community. Remember, God's presence profoundly impacts our lives when we gather with expectation and openness.
