Work

This week's sermon with Pastor David was all about appreciating the value and importance of work from a biblical perspective. He used a simple yet thought-provoking illustration of soil, water, and seeds to talk about how everything we need is provided by God, but we have a role to play. His main point was that work is a gift from God, meant for our good, not just a means to make a living. Pastor David reminded us that work existed even before sin entered the world, meaning it's inherently good and meant to be fulfilling. He explained that the frustrations we sometimes feel are because of sin. While the sermon had profound insights, it always came back to the core takeaway: "Work is not just about wealth; it's about meaningful, fulfilling activity that glorifies God."
